Introducing the Hotshot Empty
PostSubject: Introducing the Hotshot   Introducing the Hotshot EmptySun Oct 05, 2008 7:50 am

Taken from an interview with J.J "in the top rope DDT" (an indie wrestling magazine)

Hi care to introduce yourself
The names Jefferson , James Jefferson but most folk call me Jimmy , "J.J" or "Hotshot"

Describe yourself Jimmy

Im 5'10 236lbs , messy blonde hair (shrugs shoulders) the ladies say im not to bad looking , I like to think im a good ol fashioned southern boy ... my parents raised me right.

Tell us a little about yourself and your family

I'm part of what some folk would call a wrestling dynasty , My Daddie was a wrestler ("Cowboy" Kurt Jefferson) , my older brothers a wrestler ( Alex Jefferson one of the biggest western stars in Japan) heck even my kid sister (Katie) takes a little time off from her studies every once in a while to step in the ring . My mothers the only one of us who's not involved in wrestling , shes a vet and a darn good one at that.

I've been wrestling near on 7 years now ( he's 24) and have wrestled pretty much a laundry list of the current greats in the industry.

What do people make of your style of wrestling ?

I get told that i'm a combination of everything that used to be good about wrestling back in the day and the new high risk stuff as well ... that's quite the complement so I try my best to give my all every time I step in the ring .

Who are your hero's in the world of wrestling ?

Besides my Daddie you mean ? , heck then its Ricky Morton , Dusty Rhodes and Ricky Steamboat.

And what about the current crop of superstars

My brother Alex of course , my good friend Joey Diamond , who was one of the godfathers for my first child ( Jimmy's wife Clare gave birth three months ago to a happy baby boy - Andrew) Shawn Michaels , A.J Styles and my traveling buddy and tag partner the miracle man himself Mr Mick James

So you and Mick are looking to tag together again then ?

Yes we are sir , it's been a while since I had a serious run at tag gold (N.B - Jimmy hasn't been in what you could call a full time tag team since the old days of the L.W.F when he and Joey Diamond tore arena's up as the "diamond Hotshots" and won a fair amount of press coverage with their high octane balls to the wall style) , and Micks one of the few guys around at the moment that i'd trust to have my back ... we've been through a lot.

How do you feel when people call you "a boots and Trunks" style wrestler

I take it as a complement sir ... Some folk may believe they are monsters or want to dress up as firemen but im just good old Jimmy Jefferson a simple farm boy from rural Georgia in the good ol U.S of A , I've got a gift and that gift just happens to be wrestling.

Thanks for your time Jimmy any thing else you'd like to say to our readers

Yeah I'd just like to thank them for all their support and for letting me live my dream.

Name- "the hotshot" Jimmy Jefferson
Other nicknames - "J.J" , "The Blue Chipper"
Face/Heel - Old school rabble rousing ubber face
Style - High flying Technician (Think R.O.H era Paul London or A.J Styles)
Music - "the touch" , Stan Bush
