For all of you poor, unfortunate souls that don't understand, like, or get televised college football, the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (the birthplace of college football, in 1869) won their bowl game today 29-23 over North Carolina State.

This is Rutgers' 3rd bowl victory in 3 years. For some schools, this wouldn't mean very much, but you have to understand that in their first 131 years of playing college football (1869-2000), they had 1 bowl appearance and lost. Since 2000, they have been in 4 bowls and won 3. Everyone give the big ups to the Scarlet Knights, my alma mater!
