| The lights go out around the arena, and
then the temperature drops and a strong wind picks up. The ring is lit
up intermittently by flicks of lightning, and rumbles of thunder can be
heard as Aquilus enters the ring, dressed in long dark robes, carrying
an ornate longsword in one hand, and a mic in the other. Finally the
storm passes and he adresses the crowd
-
Aquilus: "Tonight
is the beginning of the new age of the Pride title. I have made a pact
with the Gods of Chaos. I give them what they want *he stabs himself in
the hand, wincing a bit as some blood drips to the mat* and they give
me the strength I need to taste victory in front of this miserable
crowd"

The audience boos become louder
-
Aquilus: "And
then I find out my opponent is a girl? *he shakes his head* Alexis
LaCoeur! Tonight is a mans match, you enter the ring and you will feel
pain like you have never experienced, and when I am finished with you
*he chuckles* All the guys here seem to want you, and personally I just
'take' what I want. Still think you can take me on? Then come to the
ring pretty girly, and face fear itself"

Once
Aquilus stops talking, a softer instrumental version of Alexis'
entrance music begins to play. After several seconds, she makes her way
to the ring only stopping to wave or smile at the crowd. Upon reaching
the ring, she brings both hands up to her lips and blows kisses as she
gracefully bows.

Alexis: "Pitiful. Really pitiful, Aquilus."

The audience seems to agree with the statement, giving a chuckle as the girl tosses her hair over her shoulders.

Alexis: "Very
outdated as well. To assume that the match this evening is a 'man's' is
very 1950's of you. But I'm here to tell you something. You don't
frighten me. I don't need the help of anyone, let alone these 'Gods of
Chaos' that you call upon to prove that I have the skill to take you
on. Win or lose, I know I made it here on my own."

Alexis folds her arms over her chest and shoots Aquilus a look of utter disdain.

Alexis: "Can you say the same?"

Aquilus snarls at her and throws the mic and his sword to the outside of the ring

Aquilus: "The fact that I was chosen is enough to
prove my talent, I only need to prove it in their eyes little girl, but
if you wish to ptovoke me.......then let the chaos commence!!!"

He charges towards her and the bell rings | |
