Updates and New Season

Hi All,

New season

After a quick break we are back on! The season starts this Monday, therefore our first show will be on Friday 27th February followed by our Sunday show on Feb 29th.

Last Season

Last season we had a strong showing in the roster charts, but we didn't quite have enough for a promotion, however I am not disappointed by this. Last season we brought in a number of new 'lower ranked' guys. This was done to ensure the continuingly strong RP factor here in the UNWA carries on growing..which I am delighted to say it has!

Thanks again to the VGM's for their help, last season we welcomed Von Ryan to the management team and he has had a number of great ideas and has worked very hard on the shows helping make them better than ever.

Losing/Gaining Fans

There was quite a few worrying thoughts about the new fed system but generally speaking I think that the new roster system didnt really cause anymore 'loss' of fans than any previous season, but as we continue to try to improve please let me know if a match was particularly bad/good for you in the way of popularity

How you can help me & the UNWA

1. Buy entrances, this still has a big factor in fed popularity and ticket sales, I understand that there are more ways to spend money now, but generally speaking entrances (from my point of you) is still the way to go.

2. When writing an rp please state at the start where and when the scene takes place if its not part of the live show

3. Please keep an eye on the rp's you start/join, and make sure they are finished in time for the show deadline (which is always 16:00 the day before the show, unless otherwise stated)

4. Please confirm when the rp has closed, this way the rp can be added to the show as soon as we know it has closed, allowing more time to work on the show.

5. Guest commentary...after 6 seasons of writing for Frankie/Winston/Mama D, after a while it can be tough to continually commentate on 10 matches a show, to help liven things up feel free to add a 'guest commentator, having someone else in the 'commentary booth' makes it a bit more interesting. It's simple as well, all you have to do is decide which match you would like to add commentary on (preferably one that makes sense to your storyline), then myself or one of the VGM's will send you the match in pm, you add your comms and then pm it back (keeping the match result quiet!)

6. Please dont ask for triple threat matches in rp or any match that the fed does not own, without first speaking to myself or one of the VGM's. These matches need a lot of editing especially triple threat matches and generally will only take place when we have plenty of time or for a ppv.

Inactive guys

It seems we have lost Silent Man and Sarkovic, both of whom have been inactive for a lengthy period of time, I hope to be able to keep their contracts open for a while in the hope they may come back. Bruise Li (who is one of my personal favourite rp'ers) has been MIA for a number of months now, so I will also be looking to release him if I need his contract for someone else.

I know its not always possible due to RL situations but please try to let me know if you are going to be gone longer than 7-10 from TWG

Final Thoughts

Lets go for a great season this month, we already have a new edition, someone I welcome from my old GEW days...Snake! He will help the fed in a number of ways, but there is one problem, his WS is a lot higher than most (he is a victim of his own sucess! ) so we will need to think of some unique angles to make it work! but work it will!

Keep the great RP and ideas coming, and remember...if you have been seen in the near vicinity of Mama D....you are a suspect!! CSA! CSA! CSA! CSA!

I did happen to lose some fans last year, it was in the tag match on the last Friday show of the season.

I'm really liking the idea of guest commentators. I've been wondering if that was possible for a while
