A Team Player? (Open to Kaluani, Bruiser Bob & Alexis)

As we come back to the ring, Leon Heart is already at ringside with a microphone in hand waiting to address the audience, the crowd is super hot which is a marked contrast to the weather outside

Leon: “Well, who would have thought it....this proves that the UNWA will travel anywhere to visit all the great fans over the world...unlike ‘some’ so called wrestling organisations...hey Alaska!!”

The crowd scream there approval at the UNWA superstars visiting there home

Leon: “So you all want to know when Kaluani is going to get his title match against the MemberState Champion.....well I can confirm that Kaluani will fight tonight!

The crowd roar, thinking they may get to see a title match tonight

Leon: “But....he will not be facing Paulley.....”

Boos ring out around the arena

Leon: “No....Listen Kaluani....me and you, BBC and Paulley...we go way back...and sure you can have your title match at this months PPV...UNWA: Relentless!”

The crowd erupt into cheers again at this news

Leon: “In fact you can make the match a hell in a cell...ring of fire...iron man match...lawnmover match...any match you like......that is....if you induldge me tonight. You see over the past few weeks a growing number of UNWA superstars have been knocking at my door, they are saying I thought Kaluani was our VGM..I thought he helped us....so why would he crack my bones....make me bleed...leave me unable to wrestle!!”

Leon: “So tonight you are going to work with one member of the roster you are not as familiar with...and you are going to tag with them, and show you do have what it takes to be a team player....and that person will be....Bruiser Bob”

The crowd cheer at Bruisers name

Leon: “If you work with one of our superstars instead of against them, if you support them rather than break there bones, if you help Bruiser and get a tag team win tonight you can have your PPV match!....Except..well I guess you want to know who you will be fighting? You will be facing Alexis Lacouer!.....AND.....ME!”

The crowd are on there feet they are craning there necks to the entrance way, they are sure to see Kaluani out to react to this news!

[b]Instead, they see a dainty little blonde making her way down the ramp toward the ring, cordless microphone in her hand. As she makes her way to the end of the ramp, she waves and blows kisses at the audience.

The scene is also being played on the Titantron, for those that can't immediately see her.

Alexis: "Hiiiii Alaska! I'm really glad to be here tonight, and pretty excited that Mr. Heart has asked me to team up with him against those two!

Sweeping her hair over her shoulder, she winks at the audience. Not everyone is cheering, but she's definitely got the attention of the majority of the males in the crowd now.

Alexis: "Anyway, I just really wanted to come out here and thank Mr. Heart for the opportunity to prove myself tonight. Win or lose, I totally offer you an exciting fight!"

(OOC: It's absolutly fine, leon!)

Shortly after Leon's announcment, we see a camera-team walk thorugh the hallways of the arena, seemingly in search for Kaluani's office for an answer. You can see a man knocking at the door, but as nobody answers, he simply opens it. behind the door, Betty waits and gives the man a creepy touch with it's green arms...
but, the cameraman has a sneak look into the room, seeing Kaluani at a wooden training figure. Betty starts to open her mouth, but the reckless interviewer shouts into the room...

"Mr. Kaluani! what do you say to the statement from tonight?"

Betty starts to put her mouth around the entire upper body of the man, and as she starts to close it around him, you can hear Kaluani shout from the back.

Kaluani: "No, no! Betty ! What did I tell you about eating my guests?"

The plant stops and turns around, and it seems as she would have an asking look at Kaluani. He stares at her angrily, then points over to the wall. Betty somehow shoves above the ground, moving back to her usual place in the room. Kaluani then turns to the interviewer.

Kaluani: "Oh, i am awfully sorry, I didn't notice you earlier. Betty... er... just wanted to play, you know?
Well, my statement about what Leon said? Well... It's Leon, and he's always up for something, we all know that. But he also knows a lot about me, including this one thing: Whatever the odds are, I will take them. If there is a chance in it, I'm on it. And hey, fighting in a team. Sure thing, a new experience and a challenge. And we all know, I like challenges. Although... Leon is right - I am no team player when I'm in the ring. "

The interviewer looks up with a surprised look.

Kaluani: "When i step into the ring, it is all about winning a match. And it doesn't matter who my opponent is. The ring is a symbol to me, you know. A symbol of fighting honor, of glory. And in that very ring, i will fight to my best, and as long as the bell doesn't ring, I won't stop, for anyone or anything. If they let their bones shatter in my holds, it's not my fault, they could simply tap out earlier..."

Kaluani smiles into the camera, then looks straight to it.

Kaluani: "i am a man with ambitions. I am a man with goals. And my next goal is... the memberstate belt, and no tag match will hinder me. Oh, and Leon, old friend... Don't you dare to think I will make it easy on you."

the interviewer turns round, but the moment he wants to speak again, Kaluani interrupts him with a warm smile.

Kaluani: "Oh, yeah, but at least, Leon, you're a submission specialist, so you should know when to tap... before it comes to serious injuries. Now, Gentleman, I have to continue my training. I don't want to disappoint the fans in this beatiful country of Kanada!"

With that, Kaluani gives the interviewer a warm handshake and then closes the door again.



(OOC: Strange. After writing and reading it, I somehow like it, but somehow I don't. It seems to be missing something... hm. but, take it as it is now.)

(Cameras catch up with Bruiser Bob sitting in the locker room taping his fists and ankles getting ready for the match at hand.)

Bruiser Bob: "Wow, what did I do to get caught up in this situation?"

(Bruiser Bob chuckles to himself and continues to speak.)

Bruiser Bob: "Kaluani I understand where you're coming from. I'm chasing a title of my own. Sometimes this business make strange bedfellows, so I hope we can at least get through this tag team match on the same page. Now don't get me wrong it will be an honor to go out there tonight and tag with you. Just being in this match will be one of the highlights of my career. I know the history between you and Leon and I hope I don't get in the way, but there are two very accomplished wrestlers standing in our way tonight."

(Bruiser Bob stand up and pounds his fists together.)

Bruiser Bob: "I'm ready to go out there tonight and kick some ass and I know you are ready to do the same!! So let's get the job done and give these fans one hell of a show!!!"

Kaluani appears at th door of the locker room just as Bruiser Bob finishes his speech. He leans on the wall, smiling.

Kaluani: "Well then, let's show them what we're made of. Don't worry about fighting alongside such "great names" as me or Leon. Names are worth nothing, the only thing that matters is what actions you decide to take. And be assured: It's not called "tag TEAM" match for nothing. You will get your chance to prove what you're made of..."

Kaluani smiles and nods towards Bruiser and as the camera turns around, we can see a hallway to the arena, where a screaming crowd of fans awaits the contenders...
