The road to recovery Part Two

**Choirboy starts fidgeting in his hospital bed, but cannot do much due to his injuries. The man quietly watches him struggle before he finally stops and stares at the man. 'Holyfather', Choirboy thinks to himself, 'the reason I became a professional wrestler'. The man looks far different than the shining beacon of hope he did when he wrestled for the orphans. This man before Choirboy looks concerned, his hair now long and scraggly, a thick grey-ish beard on his once clean-shaven face, and wearing a blue track suit.**

Choirboy - 'Well, as you can see HF, there's no place I can go to right now, so you might as well say your piece and then leave me alone.'

**Holyfather kindly looks at the young lad, and nods in agreement.**

HF - 'My son, I won't be here for long. I came to check on you, to see.....'

CB - 'To see what? What your former colleagues did to me? To see how far I've gone? Ooooo, I know, you came to see what your former prized pupil has done with himself.'

**Holyfather leans back at the viciousness of Chorboy's words. He then leans forward, and slaps Choirboy in the face. Choirboy sits there in stunned silence as Holyfather whispers to him.**

HF - 'I came here to tell you that you deserved this. The beating you took. The departure of this Timelord from your life. The lack of support from your stablemates. No fan support. Nothing. You brought this upon yourself...'

**Choirboy's face changes from one of anger to one of uncertainty. He weighs upon Holyfather's words, and realizes the truth behind them. Choirboy sighs, in surrender, and looks at Holyfather.**

CB - 'So, HF, what would you have me do? Make a stand for the right? Make penance for my sins? Nothing I have done in the UNWA has made a difference....'

HF - 'But you have made a difference my son. You have seen the ways the crowd are now reacting to you. You have seen the way your fellow wrestlers are now looking at you. And not just at you, but they are looking to you as well.'

**Choirboy looks shocked at the words coming out of Holyfather's mouth. He looks down and shakes his head.**

CB - 'Why don't I feel like I have though?'

**Holyfather looks at the young man kindly. His gaze turns from a caring gaze to one of anger,his eyes becoming wider and wilder.**

HF - 'My son, listen to yourself. You are destined to be one of the greatest wrestlers of your generation, and yet you lay here in self-pity. You ALLOWED Timelord to take advantage of you, to toss you to the side like the GARBAGE you said everyone else is.
This is NOT the boy I raised to become my successor. This is not the Choirboy that should demand respect. How can you ask for respect if you cannot respect yourself?
You know what you have to do, don't you?'

**Holyfather's eyes glisten as he looks at the young man. Choirboy, unsure, shakes his head, and then looks calmly at his mentor. A smile slowly creeps across his face, as his eyes go blank.**

CB - 'I have to make them atone for what they have done. I have to make them bleed for their sins. I have to break them, so that they may be remade....'

HF - 'That is right my son. You must destroy that which your foe holds most dear.'

CB - 'I must destroy Revolution.'

**Holyfather smiles at the young lad, and places his hand on his shoulder. Choirboy looks to his mentor as Holyfather slowly starts to fade into nothingness. Choirboy frantically moves to grab hold of the man who was his inspiration in the orphanage, his 'father', and Holyfather fades to nothingness. Just then, Choirboy awakes to see a nurse standing over him, with a look of concern on her face.**

Nurse - 'Sir, are you ok? We were notified of a loud noise coming from your room, and I came to investigate.'

CB - 'Was, was it just a dream?'

Nurse - 'Seems so sir. Is everything ok?'

**Choirboy looks at the nurse, and smiles.**

CB - 'Oh yes. Everything is ok, and it's going to get better.'

**The nurse smiles nervously at the grinning young man, and slowly backs away from his bed. Choirboy starts laughing, and it changes from a slight chuckle, to a full out cackle. 'I have my mission now, what I have been waiting my whole life for' he thinks to himself, 'and God help those in my way.'**
