The storm before the calme (open to captain parkes)

The arena goes dark, and is only lit up by an occassional bolt of lightning. All that can be heard is the muffled voices of the crowd beneath the strong sound of gusts of wind

A shot of lightning flies into the ring, and then Aquilus can be seen standing on the top of a turnbuckle, holding his runed sword high, as if he is controlling the storm. In his other hand he holds a microphone

Aquilus: "The storm has arrived at the penultimate pay per view of 2008! And what a way to end the year it will be! Do people want to see some hell in a cell match? No.......Do they want to see Santa fight against Bruiser Bob? You have to be kidding me.......No, there is only one reason the crowd are here!"

Aquilus jumps down into the ring and lowers his sword, the storm ends instantly, and the lights come back on

Aquilus: "The crowd are here to see ME, Aquilus! The chosen champion of the Gods of Chaos! Tonight I will be putting this very mic to the mouth of Captain Parkes, and he will say the words I QUIT! He will quit his campaign against me, and he will quit his battle against Revolution! Tonight Revolution will lose one of their enemies, tonight Captain Parkes will QUIT!"

(ooc:I thought we could use this as my entrance for the I quit match, and captain parkes please feel free to make your entrance to follow it)

(OOC: I'll also use this for my ring entrance for the PPV)

A rumble of thunder and the sound of thrashing waves is heard throughout the arena. The crowd rise in cheers as Captain Parkes emerges from backstage accompanied by the female we first saw last Friday.

Parkes stops at the start of the ramp and kneels down on the ramp, bowing his head in pray before spreading his arms wide and looking up into the heavens. All at once the noise in the arena dies down and the fans are waiting in anticipation for what will happen next.

With a sign of resignation Parkes stands up again and goes to make his way down to the ring. Before he can take a step forward his compainion grabs hold of his arm trying to prevent him from leaving.

Parkes turns to face her, shaking his head and saying a few words unheard by the nearby cameras, before turning back towards the ring and making his way into the ring.

(ooc: we may as well leave the rp there, and let the commentators finish the scenario off, but we can still work on a sword fight rp for earlier in the show if you want)

(OOC: I ran a few ideas through my head but couldn't come up with anything I was happy with. It seemed a bit too similar to those movie scripts you see with sword fights and it sounded really bad when i re-read it.)
